I chose white with the Cadillac script on the back but obviously, you can get whatever you want. I've got all my GN apparel from them for years and they custom-made these for me.This logo is unique to our cars. The new "Blackwings" do not use this logo. It's what sets our cars apart.
Mid-June we started hearing a popping sound when we turned. At first it was only when we turned left after slowing down just enough to turn into the neighborhood. Then it appeared on right turns as well. Since it is still under warranty (but barely at 33,500 miles) we took it in. The dealer said he installed shims to stop the noise. At first this seemed to work. Then about three weeks later...
1981 Jet Industries Electravan is a Subaru Sambar 600 converted to an electric vehicle. Ran when parked but had developed a skip/surge. When this happened before, it needed new brushes. I went on to other projects and it has sat for probable 10 years. It is complete as when running, batteries are very low and does not run at this time. Last pictures are current condition...
So i switched my dash lights to LED blue yesterday, i thought everything was all clear and until tonight i was driving and wanted to turn the intensity down, once i took them off full blast they waited about 3 seconds then shut off. I turned dial to full blast then turned the lights off then back on and they worked fine but it seems like they will only work when they are on all the way does...
Today, it's -4 outside and my liquid in the washer tank froze :( I bought a new 5l liquid for -20. I hope it will help.
Okay, so I adjusted the spring, tightened it all the way and backed it out 2 full turns. At 50/50 vent, still getting the drop in boost and the same CEL. I'm not giving up, but would like to hear from ANYONE who has a GT Manual that has this setup that has gotten it to work without the CEL. To be clear, it's fine as long as I don't drive it hard. Once I do, that's when it throws the c...
Two years ago today, I took delivery of a 2021, 2dr Rubicon. It was a retirement gift to myself and ordered at a time when a world wide pandemic began gripping the world. Fortunately, supply chain issues hadn't quite begun and it was purchased in June of 2020 and delivered on September 23, 2020. I would have received it approximately a week earlier, but it was shipped to the wrong...
Woke up and rolled down the windows via key fob, later on went to drive through car wash and the next thing I know I got green soap Pouring from moon roof visor, moonroof was cracked open about half inch, Won't let that happen again!!
Last Saturday I caught a Hyundai Venue going by working for a Local Auto Parts Store. Those Drivers put such vehicles thru it's paces. The one Parked is my own Venue, as I was checking some Motorcycles at a Dealer (I parked too far from the Curb )
We bought a Calligraphy Dec 31st, and have been enjoying it very much. I noticed for the first time today that the side mirrors tilt down when I shift to reverse. I had been focusing on the 360 camera view and backup camera for the most part, and didn't notice the mirrors. We had a Chrysler Pacifica (SUV, not minivan) with the tilt in reverse mirrors, and I really liked them. Easy to...
So I've been doing an engine rebuild on the back burner now for about a year and a half, and I just got everything put back together and I had some electrical issues. After researching it turned out to be minor corrosion on the engine-to-body ground, killing communication to the CAN network from the OBD2 port. Sanded it and everything works now, and it's all back together but I wasnt able to...
When I took delivery of my '21 Rubicon, it included a very thick, 465 pages in total, Owners Manual. Unlike any other make currently owned or owned in the past, the amount of information provided was both intimidating and at times, overwhelming. Make no mistake, as most of us know, the amount of high-end engineering that goes into a Wrangler build can be staggering. It constitutes a b...
Alright Guys n Gals..... I'm revisiting this again because I want a lower stance still but not paying $1000 ( Need $$$ for 410 gears ) for somebody to do it when I can. Will just need to get an Alignment when all done. Going with the SR Performance Lowering springs from AM for about $150. So with 1.5" drop ( after some drive time ) I think I have enough clearance. I'm running 245x45x19's. Le...
Since removing the OEM carpet and going with BedRug, I have lose some deeper base from my Alpine sub under the seat. There is no insulation and I can tell the bear metal has taken some sound/depth away. I bought some insulated heat shield to glue under the carpet to see if it helps, or wondering should I lay so dynamat instead. or make this: Noico RED 150 mil 36 sqft Сar Sound Insulat...
Getting to know the i3. Sometimes we don't know what questions to ask b/c we don't know what we don't know. Let's start with the i3 Boot Camp! Part 1 of 3 uploaded so far:
In case you need some tips on charging your BMW i3 at a public charging station or want to know how to remove a stuck connector:
This morning I took all of my wheels off to paint my brake calipers red. (because I am a ricer) I noticed that on the bottom of the passenger rear strut there is a plastic part that was NOT on the other side. I could easily pop it off. It looked like something that would be put on for shipping that should have been taken off during vehicle prep. And it confused me that it wasn't on bo...
I have the doors and top off for the summer, and the Jeep lives outside. I bought a regular car cover, but it promptly ponds and leaks into the Jeep in moderate rain. My temporary solution was to throw a scrap piece of plywood on the sport cage under the cover, but am looking for a more elegant solution. What are people using and does it work? Not just in an emergency during a...
Background, i got my truck back from the body shop 2 weeks ago after a front left hit and run. Everything has been fine for the two weeks until... Yesterday, got a hyper flash and a DIC message for a front right turn signal malfunction. Next time i used the turn signal, no issue. the problem remained intermittent for the drive to work and the drive home. Today, i figured i woul...
Gotta say.....as an owner of a brand new '21 Rubicon, I have no complaints. I mention this given the many comments and complaints about real world issues about Wrangler steering. I drive everything from heavy commercial trucks to little sports cars on a road track, including my Jeep. When on the road, I feel what is an appropriate if not "just right" amount of resistance at the wh...
