Very good fit. Also cargo storage with bunjee to hold it in place
Hey everybody, I recently installed a starlight headliner in my Trailblazer. It was about a 20 hour job for me as a beginner who has never pulled a headliner before. I'll attach some pics I took during the job.
It's coming on Summertime here in the Fort Stinking Hole Desert Indian Reservation and Cobalt Bomb Testing Range. Since I bought my 2016 back in November, I haven't felt compelled to do anything about throwing some tint on the windows until recently. But with the solar index now shooting up like mad, it was time to do something about cutting the heat load on the interior and protecting the u...
Tinted headlights with a hexagon pattern, did a perfect job as usual, using tint from a brand called vvividvinyl
Always loved the feel of the flat bottom, I purchased an OEM RS model heated flat bottom steering wheel from Eurporice and now the look and feel is awesome! Alex swapped out the RS badge for the S (my stock round one is for sale). The mod wasn't hard to do at all, I knew how to remove the steering wheel having done it on my previous B9 S4. Hardest part is removing the airbag but a thoro...
To try to protect the interior of my new Calligraphy, I ordered a set of these to replace the carpets that came from the factory. I have a set from the same company in my pickup. After three years, they have held up great. They fit very well, look nice, and will protect the interior well. Didn't bother with the third row, since it won't be used very much.May put the factory carpets...
it finally came yesterday and I managed to install it in under an hour from start to finish. Surprisingly easy. The dealer quoted me $400-$500 for the install, FYI. Turned out amazing, looks super factory and it was just the subtle missing piece for this already amazing interior. Let me know what you guys think! Here are some pics...
I ordered and installed the illuminated scuff plates for my GV70. They are indeed white. They are a trivial five minute install using a trim tool to remove the OEM scuff plates. They use button batteries, one on each plate, and corresponding small activation magnets that attach to the underside of the door frame on each side. I’m not overly impressed with build quality. The driver’s side bat...
Interior, Underhood, and Cargo all changed out!
Bought a used hatch light off eBay for $29 shipped. Popped the blank panel out of the driver side of the hatch. Disassembled the used light (it’s 4 pieces including surface surround, and all held together with side clips). Laid the used panel face down on my blank as a reverse template and marked square with a liquid chalk marker. Dremeled the square out and dry fit the light surround. I tho...
On the e-Niro model, after removing the organizers, the spare wheel is freely placed in the luggage compartment. One of the removed organizers (the lower one) fits very well in place of the cover in the engine compartment.
Decided to leave the vanity mirror lights as it is. Prefer the warm light over the bright white in that area.
One of the first things I added (moved from previous car) was this one. This was my 5th time installing a dash cam in a vehicle and by far the easiest one. Most difficult part was finding a good location for the front camera. Black dots around the mirror base really made it challenging to find an ideal location. Picture shows driver view (top), rear view (middle) and any visible wires (...
I'm a big fan of this one. Had it in my previous two cars, so I went ahead and ordered it on their website. Shipping was fast compared to the last two times as well.
None of the US spec e-tron's came with Park Pilot Assist, even though mine is a loaded prestige model. I purchased the retrofit package from Europrice but the kit itself is from Kufatec. Loving this feature.
Not sure if others have been looking, but the seat back covers that others ordered (and some had problems) are back again on Amazon I ordered a set, and I'll guess I'll find out if they improved them or not. Note; they have several videos of them being installed and removed. In the one of the videos of them removing one, the Velcro stays sticking to the seat, which I believe was the pro...
When I test drove the Pacifica I noticed the passenger side plastic frame/magnetic piece was broken. After driving 2 hours, & it being in stock 118 days, they put in writing they’d order an extra key and fix the panel. It took a month for them to sort out that the panel isn’t available individually. You have to purchase the entire assembly for $2,600. I told them I’d install it myself. They...
I keep the 3rd row down for cargo and the dogs. Bought 2 unbranded rubber mats at Home Depot. Covers the area without covering the floor vents. When I need the seats, the mats will “line” the cargo well. With split design, it’s easy to adjust for the 60/40 split. If one side is needed for seating.
Installed these lights on a 23 Chevy TB RS! Took me around 3 hours.
