Well I got my GT Dyno Tuned this afternoon. Learned a lot about all this stuff while I was there. Just like last Sunday, the place was great (Mongillo Motors, New Haven, CT).
Spark plugs did not have to be replaced which was a good thing. And the final numbers came out superb. (Weather adjusted down a tad).
297 rwhp
301 rwtq
Average A/F ratio 12.7
The car idles smoother, and the power is more evenly distributed when I drive. I notice the most difference when over 3000 rpm. The BamaChips 93 torque tune I was running had a little more torque in the lower end (2000-3000 rpm) but would drop off some at higher revs (which it was designed to do). Now when I hit 3000-3500 rpms it really takes off while still keeping enough torque in the lower register.
But best of all was the A/F ratio curve....it was practically straight with no deviations worth noting.
I can't thank Mongillo Motors enough....I was extremely pleased with the personal service I received and they certainly know their stuff. A 10 out of 10 in my book.
Oh and while I was there the word "supercharger" did escape from my lips.....*GULP*.....lol.
