Front door armrest buzz fixed and an added benefit

For awhile I had this annoying buzz at certain resonances coming from the plastic part of the armrest in my 2007 GT vert. It's the part that houses the power window controls. Did not happen all the time but when it did it was annoying as all hell.

I finally got fed up with it. Went to the local stereo shop and the guy there actually was a Mustang expert and worked on many Mustangs. Well he removed both of those pieces and Dynamated the plastic control panels, the inside of the armrest and some of the inside of the door panel around the armrest.

It took him less than an hour and it cost only 40.00.

And voila, not only is the buzz complete gone, but the Dynamat has vastly inproved the low bass response from the door subs. Now

obviously these are not high end subs, but the extension of the lower bass registers is VERY noticeable. The extended frequency response has made the sound deeper and more puchy even when I

am driving at highway speeds with the top dropped.

So if you want a quick imporovement in bass response, try the Dynamat thing. It's far cheaper than adding a powered sub.
