Pony Got a Nose Job and a Facelift

I suppose you could call her Big Nose Kate! :shigrin

Here's what parts I used:

  • BBR 3" Cowl Hood 2010-2011 Mustang - Paid $459.50
  • Roush Mustang Front Fascia (10-11 GT)  - Paid $549 (unpainted) + shipping
  • 11 2011 Mustang GT OEM Ford Grille Surround Adapter - eBay (item 170611142118 end time Apr-02-11 12:39:32 PDT). I paid $98.99. Overnight shipping cost a bundle but I was in a pinch for time (obviously).

That's it. Nothing more to buy. The fog light switch came with the fascia. It was very cleanly installed on the underside of the dash board. Simple two-way toggle.

The GT grille surround had to be trimmed a little for the stock V6 honeycomb grille to fit but it all worked out very well!

The only hard part was the paint matching. Took them a few days to get it right but they never gave up. Looks incredible in person!

They even sprayed my Scott Drake '05-'10 GT strut tower brace: MUSTANG SCOTT DRAKE BLACK STRUT TOWER BRACE V6 GT 2005-2010

in red candy metallic!

It cost me $1,400 at the body shop (maybe a little steep, maybe not - I don't know; the paint matching was not fun for them), but it was WELL worth it in my book!

They're the same shop who installed my rear wing:

I's a happy dude! :cooldude: I've found a shop that I'll keep returning to! :bigthumbsup

Sorry I don't have any photos in better light. The setting sun does these no justice. But I couldn't wait until tomorrow. Had to post tonight!
