Making your car quieter

I usually do this to all the cars I buy. Buy better tires to make the car more quiet than start doing easier things to make it even more quiet.

My favorite is deadening the trunk surfaces as they can get a little micro phonic. You dont even notice it till its gone. So I add packing foam I get from work refuse and a cheaper peel and stick sound deadener off ebay. It works and easy to install just peel off a piece and slap it on. Stop the metal from vibrating. It really needs some more peel and stick as the edges are not covered so have some more coming. But its helped.

Now no sounds from behind me even going over a bad bump. Anything you can do to make the car quieter adds to the ride experience.
