I bought this set of 235/55-18 Michelin CrossClimate2 tires for my 2014 Sienna Limited on April 17 due to the forecast of significant snowfall for April 20. I had remounted my "summer wheels" with their worn (2/32" to 3/32" tread depth) Michelin Premier A/S tires on the previous weekend and I didn't want to remount my "winter wheels" with their Bridgestone Blizzaks for what would likely be the final snowfall of the season.
The forecast for April 20 turned out to be accurate with heavy blowing snow that made it difficult to drive more than 30 mph during much of the first leg of a 400 mile trip to take a parent to a critical medical appointment preliminary to heart surgery. The CrossClimate2 tires seemed to feel secure enough in these conditions and I concluded that it would not have been safe to drive on the worn Micheline Premier A/S tires.
The issues the CrossClimate2 became evident during several subsequent 400 mile trips to visit said parent. Directional stability on dry pavement at 70 mph is noticeably worse than that of the Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires or the Michelin Premier A/S tires. The van now seems to wander slightly and requires more steering inputs. The van doesn't feel as well planted on the CrossClimate2 tires. It's not terrible but still irritating. What is more surprising is the decrease in fuel economy. While I usually got between 24 and 25 mpg on these trips with Michelin Premier, Bridgestone Blizzak and other tire models I've used on this van, fuel economy with the Michelin CrossClimate2 tires has averaged between 22.1 and 22.3 mpg.
I had read a number reviews of the CrossClimate2 tires before I bought them and all were favorable. I went back and read more reviews today. I didn't find any reviews that mentioned decreased directional stability but I did find one that mentioned a 15% decrease in fuel economy. A problem I've noticed with many tire reviews is that they are written after driving relatively few miles.
I suppose that it is possible that directional stability could improve a little as the CrossClimate2 tires wear but I don't expect fuel economy to improve. I'm not recommending for or against the CrossClimate2 - only describing my experience which has been unexpected.
