Hi Everyone! I wanted to show you what I got for the holiday! I just bought new Michelin LTX MS2's at the end of October.
I stopped at my local Safeway store to grab some beer and chips before the Seahawks game. As I slowly went over the speed bump I heard a funny noise(even with the radio up). Almost like the shock bottoming out. Then my truck was making a funny shim when moving. I thought maybe I broke a shock or chipped a rear end gear? After shopping I jumped in my truck and started to pull out. It was feeling bad, so I rolled my window down to listen. That's when I could hear it was in the front drivers tire.
I was shocked at what I saw! I quickly checked for tire stores near by and found one open. I had my tires installed at the dealer and knew they weren't open. I limped to Firestone and they looked and told me, "No!". It was too big for repair. I called another place and they said the same.
Here is what I found...best bet...maybe a piece of electrical cable? It's kinda soft and rubberized. How it went into my tread and punctured the tire...probably one in a million chance.
