well, as everyone knows i was choppin at the bit to get the duals on. last week was time to do it. most guys have no problems at all, but thats never the case for me seems like. getting the car high enough on jacks stands to get the stock pipe off was fun. the jba h pipe kit came with really nice clamps, 2 of which you need to stick on the y pipe before you mount the h pipe to the y.

make sure you use the 2 1/4 clamps and not one 2 1/2 my mistake( like i did) cause once its mounted its either remove the whole thing, or cut it off with a die grinder and use a cheaper clamp( like i did). i also didnt have the driv side exaust pipe on enough and snugged a clamp, only to realize that that stainless once crimped was very hard to get off and harder to get back on. had to cut a inch off the h on the driv side with a cutoff wheel cause the saz all wouldnt touch it, to get the over the axle pipe to clear the rear end better on the driv side.

i didnt care for the hangers they sent with the kit, so i bought 2 new hangers from fords( 56.00 each, ouch) made a paper templet from the right bumper cutout with as many reference ponits as i could, cut out the cutout and taped it to the bumper on the left. after a hour of thought to if its in the right spot, rough cut it with a hog bit in a die grinder, then finished it off with a small sanding drum in the die grinder and touch up paint on the cut edge. ive still gotta tweek the hangers on the pass side a little to get that one up a little more.

i`m still thinking about cutting the tips a bit shorter, but it doesnt look to bad like it is. so ya, i had some problems but its just what i had hoped for. sounds awesome. thanks to all the help from the people on here and all the exaust posts and links
