Installed a set of side steps. My wife is just about 5 feet tall, and she wanted them to make it easier for her to get in and out. She likes them, finds it better for her.
Got the steps on Amazon, there are multiple options.
They seem to be fine quality, only time will tell. Plenty strong, I counted 13 bolts total attaching them on each side. Took about 3 hours to install, including the mud flaps that came with the steps. I would suggest the install of at least the front flaps, they will keep junk off the steps, especially in winter weather. Trickiest part is putting the rubber trim from the old part that you need to take off onto the step.
Some pics with a few pointers. The instructions are horrible, but there are multiple You Tube videos that are really helpful.
This is what came in the box. Plenty of hardware, there were a couple of extra items.

Here is a shot if the finished product.

Another showing the front mud flap.

There are plenty of bolts on each side.

I put the Palisade on ramps, much easier with the side higher. Used my floor jack to lift the steps into place. Was working my myself, this made it easier to get the first few bolts in.
