Below are a list of instructions with pictures of a step by step install. Package was packed nice with my name out. Checked on line, package took only 10 hours to go through customs. Wasn't opened or anything. The manual talks about the removal and all. Check engine light is on for CASE Removal.
First, using a 13mm socket with wrench I removed the black bar, making it easier to get access to the air box. Removed the three screws for that. Then using a flat headed screwdriver, removed the screw holding the MAF sensor tube to the air box out. I then unplugged the MAF sensor. Then pushing the four clips on the bottom of the air box, two on each side, I remove the air box. I first pulled up on the TCM, simply push down on the little indent and pull the protector back till it stops. Then wiggle the connector off of the TCM. Apply the new one doing the opposite. Next pushing two little holding clips on the top and bottom of the ECM will remove it. Push the two little red locking pins away from you, push down on the button then slide back to easily remove. Reverse operations to reinstall. Cut out the part of the air box also, I can feel the difference right away. And my intake temp was around 6 degrees cooler then average. First reponse when starting the car up, was it was idling a little higher, which is good, around 900 rpms compared to 700. DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THE KEY RELEARN. HE STATED IN THE INCLUDED 10-15 PAGE MANUAL HE REMOVED IT FROM THE ECM! Backed out of the drive way and wow. Did a burn out leaving down my road and couldn't even tell it was shifting it was so smooth. Just like butter. Accelerated from multiple stop signs with no slip and even floored it to WOT with no issues and immediate power. All the slipping I had is all gone. The slipping that was their when coasting then accelerating under 45 mph was gone. Completely gone. Engine ran about 14-16 degrees cooler. Time will tell about mph. But how it changed the tranny is mind blowing. So smooth and fast. As soon as you hit the gas, immediate power. Car hauls ass! Puts the Sport in Luxury Sport (LS) hahaha! Defiantly more responsive and smoother. Every car should have one haha.
