This is long overdue. Thanks to lwarrior, I'm finally getting this done.
Bare with me on this first post as I will go through the history of my car and where it's at now. I will list all mods at the bottom of the thread.
Bought my 2001 Mustang Gt Convertible in April 2012 for $6,995. It had 137k miles on it. Bone stock. 5 speed. It was a dream come true...I had wanted a mustang since I could remember.
It's Laser Red, tan top, tan interior.
It is my DAILY DRIVER....still...by DAILY DRIVER I mean, rain/snow/ice/sleet/hot/cold/sunny/cloudy I drive it. If it's broke I don't go to work (unless my parents' mustang is accessible).
I kept it stock for awhile. I bought some stupid mods at first (TB spacer, some K&N intake thing that was not a full CAI).
The "real" mods began about 2.5 years ago. I started with bolt ons (TB/Plenum/CAI, midpipe, exhaust). I kept the stock tune. Short throw Shifter. My car made 240wh/282wt at this point. Again, stock tune....I was running 14.0-14.1 @ 98/99 at the drag strip.
I moved on to suspension (springs, shocks/struts,cc plates, isolators, upper and lower control arms).
Finally got a tuner, 4.10s, under-drive pullies. I loaded the SCT canned 93 tune and got it dynoed again....225wh/260wt...yep, it went down. Same dyno, same conditions...
I then bought Bama tunes thinking that would fix it. I wish I got it dynoed after that but I didn't. Seemed to run better....I got down to a 13.7@99 with this setup. I contribute that gains to gears and driver-mod. Best 60ft was 1.9s
Then Last August came...my wife and I had our 5 year anniversary and we splurged on each other. She got me a NITROUS kit. I was ready for some real power. Got the Zex Kit and started with the 100 pills on the stock tune. Evenutally moved to the 125 pills on the stock tune. I ran a 13.5@105 (no traction) 2.1 60ft.
I got greedy...ordered the 150 pills and a boost a pump, backed off 5 degrees and ran a 13.3@109 (still no traction)...but I broke an exhaust valve (detonation kills). At the time my engine had 172k miles.
That brings us to now....

I most proud of the fact that I have done ALL MY OWN WORK. EVERYTHING on this car has been done on jack stands in a suburban garage with help from my dad and brother.
Here are the QTPS. They are used but only had like 10 passes on them. They have a good amount tread left. 28x11.50x16. Mounted on 16x7.5 V6 rims
