FRPS Issue or Tune Issue

Incidents & Traffic / Sudden Breakdown written by @JonR2006 Ford Mustang 2001

So, wierd issue going on....Bare with me.

Driving to work, all the sudden my Wideband starts going lean and the engine starts misfiring. I pull off, open hood, and see the fuel line that attaches to the fuel rail adapter (for the nitrous solenoid) is leaking fuel. I tighten it, no more leaks. Re-start car, runs good, but maybe a mile down the road it starts the same symptoms. I think the line is loose again, pull off, open hood, but line is tight and no fuel leaks. I begin datalogging with my X3, and the Fuel Pressure reading is bouncing up and down between high 40s and low 60s. It should be at 39-40 all the time...something is off. I drive it the rest of the way to work the whole time it's running lean and misfiring especially under high load.

I think to myself, well I am going to re-load the tune and see if the Fuel Rail Pressure fixes itself since it might be off due to the fuel leak.

Re-load tune (Bama Race Tune with raised idle at 855) and same thing. It ran just fine for the past week until today....I have datalogged within the past week and nothing looked off other other than the tune is filthy rich at WOT according to my wideband.

I realize I need a dyno tune, but does this seem like a definite tune issue for sure or is my FRPS bad? It is brand new. I have no vaccuum leaks. Again it ran just fine the past week with no issues until today.

It is driveable so I will drive it home today and then park it until I can figure this out.

Is it worth the effort to remove my Fuel Rail Adapter, put the FRPS on the rail like normal and see how it does?

If you want a datalog file I can get one but it won't be until tonight or tomorrow night.
