Venza Fog Lights - Part Deux

Lighting / Fog Lights written by @hoffdad Toyota Venza 2021

So finally got around to installing iJDMtoy.com Xenon White LED projector fog lights I've been sitting on for months. One of my original aftermarket fog lights went to about half brightness after about two years of use. Ended up pulling off the entire front bumper, which made the replacement of the lights and the addition of the vent lights super easy.

So as far as the projector lights, they're actually more powerful than the XLE/Limited factory headlights and have great cutoff, however that cutoff is very blue. Additionally, the beam is not adjustable, so with them sitting low on the car they only shoot out about 23 feet, which makes them barely noticeable when in my normal driving position.

Positives

Super Bright

Super clear cutoff

Has the capability to use as wide-open high beams

Includes wiring adapter to connect to existing fog light wiring

Negatives

Strong Blue tint on cutoff line

Not adjustable

Not as noticeable to oncoming traffic due to cutoff

Does not include fog light wiring for Venzas that do not already have fog lights

Still requires OEM brackets

So will I continue to use them... for now. I'll continue watching for other powerful versions, but these will do the job for now. I may look into seeing what special adapter I would need to utilize the high beam output of the lights. Not sure how hard it would be to tie into the automatic high beams.

Size difference between my original aftermarket fogs and these new ones

Adapter (this allowed me to easily connect to my existing fog light wiring kit.

Beam pattern photos:
Notice how clean the cutoff is - ~10ft away from garage

~23ft away, notice how blue the cutoff line is

Some video of me driving around with them...
