Just a quick post about air bags for the back of a truck.
Its been 2 years since i installed my AirLift 5000 in the back of the truck. the reason is i have anywhere from an empty truck to a bed full of fresh cut oak, to pulling a 8-9k trailer, to bringing lumber home. with air bags, the truck sits PERFECTLY level and rides great at every load.
just today, i brought home just over 1800 lbs of pressure treated lumber. put 35 psi in the bags and the back came right up and rode just like normal.
the great thing about these is they dont effect the ride at all empty (i run 0 psi and have bottom cups, so no worry about pulling a vacuum) and they dont require the vehicle to sag first before supporting load like a timbren does.
