Me calling it the SHAQ Mod!! being 6ft I always felt a little cramped in my 2013 SRX and the way I have my seat adjusted there is no exit adjustment, with it already being at its limit so I decided to make me a seat extender bracket. After searching on line no body makes one for Cadillac period, there was one place that would custom make one but the wanted way too much!!the brackets I made gives me and extra 2" of travel backwards which is not a problem for me because nobody rides in the back anyways :) the mock up brackets I made out of aluminum and then had a welding shop make me some out of iron and painted them gloss black, I now have plenty of leg room.picture shows one bracket cut in half but both should be cut in half for a total of 4 brackets front left & right and rear left & right.
On the front bottom of the seat rail there are two anchor brackets that you would remove and install to the front off the front brackets then reinstall front brackets to seat rail, the rear brackets you just mount to the body where the seat bolted to, I can go on with steps but it was pretty simple once the brackets were made.
