Went to auto-zone for a charging checkup because battery went low, before i went there i replaced the battery needing to get to work ETC, With new battery while monitoring the charging voltage i notice it would start out around 14.4 then would drop to 12.5 :-( so auto-zone confirmed alternator failed test :-(.

At first glance of looking at replacing it it look like a BEAR, so i called a local shop who quoted me $711.00:suspect: I almost went that route but decided to take another look and realized that i could get to the belt tentioner and Alternator pulley bolt from the passenger wheel well, so i took off the wheel, removed the well cover and wallah!!!!! i could now see the belt tentioner and further look up and see the Alternator pulley bolt mount once you get that bolt loose everything else is self explanatory :) front of engine side there is a plug a wire connection and 2 bolts take those out and its loose, in order to get the Alternator out the front you will have to take that alternator pulley bolt out first which is pretty long so you will have to move the ALT around a bit to get enough room for it to come out then you can pull the alternator out the front, its really not that bad of a job so good luck and i hope this helps somebody,oh and by the way the STEELER wanted $500 just for the Alternator autozone advance ETC wanted $233,but i have a place in town who rebuilds starters and Alternators for $100, so $100 it is LOL
