As noted elsewhere in this forum, I was able to pick up a 2015 V6 AWD with Navi a couple of weeks ago with 56,000 miles. (The blue car). My CT (the black one) has 165,000 miles and, while there isn't a thing wrong with it and I'm a bit of a nut about maintenance, I originally wanted a 2015 CT in mountain air metallic ever since I saw a new one on the lot in 2015 and we purchased a new CR-V. So when this one popped up in Connecticut last month, I grabbed it and bought it sight-unseen, flew out and drove it back. I've only seen one other blue 2015 locally and few on the road. It seems that most of the 2015's were painted black.
The black one has the Katzkin custom interior, sport pedals, new speakers and JDM badging. I plan to leave my new one stock, with the exception of my 19" summer wheels and tires and the 20mm sway bar upgrade, which I've already completed by swapping it over. I also swapped my stock wheels (with winter tirews) with the chrome wheels and all-season tires that came with the new car.
So far I'm really liking the Nav set up. Despite the Nav system's shortcoming, I did update it, because I can't leave well-enough alone but I use Google Maps for navigating. I really like the look and functionality of the audio system/screens with Nav.
Alas, I had to give up my "J35Y 278" plate, as Indiana law won't allow me to swap it until I've sold the car. But, I have a new "VTEC VCM" on on order that should arrive any day.
I thought I'd grab a couple of photos while I can boast about owning two CTs at the same time. I've not yet done paint correction on the blue car so it's not quite as reflective as the black one; and both of them need a bath.
Way back when, the Packard Motor Car Company had an advertising slogan of "Ask the Man who Owns One." I'd update that now to "Ask the Person who Owns One" but, truly, I just haven't been able to find anyone who has owned a CrossTour who, afterwards, hasn't said "I wish I'd never gotten rid of that car."
What an amazing vehicle.
