So after googling around a bit this appears to be a common issue. I did the dielectric grease on the weatherstripping and it helped a lot but I still have a squeak. People also recommend the 3M squeak tape but IDK where to apply it really besides the door jambs.
On the drivers side x-cab door I can physically push on the door and it moves a bit. Nothing major but enough that it makes a squeak. I adjusted the drivers door a bit on the x-cab latch itself and this helped again but still as I go over bumps without a radio on I can hear it moved. I finally figured out the latch at the bottom is the issue, but there appears to be no adjustment-it just unbolts thats it.
I have on order the 3M squeak tape but IDK if its gonna work. I tried to stick a 2x4 into the door and bend the bottom a bit but didnt have much luck.
Ideas? Its getting annoying.
btw: put the 3M squeak tape on any part of the door area that contacts the body??? I would get the dealer to do it but I already ordered the tape.
