Hellwig SwayBar

Just wanted to tell everyone how happy I am with hellwig brand swaybars. I already had the rear one on there, but recently purchased the front one. I bought the one apparently for 2-4" lifted trucks as I have a 2.5" level up front. I also purchased a spacer kit (4 plates you put under the brackets) as it can apparently rub the trans lines.

Overall the bar is MUCH heavier than the stock Z71 bar. It was hard doing the job myself, sucker is that heavy. Stock bar Ive taken off/put on a few times no issues. Anyways, Im not sure the spacer kit was needed as it doesnt come close to the lines, I flipped it over just to make sure I had it on the right way (no directions which way it faces) and it is then even with spacers TOUCHING the trans lines. So if its on wrong IDK. Not risking it.

I have to say the truck handles WAY better. Before at speed on the highway the truck was almost to sensitive and took getting used to once lifted with larger more meaty tires. Its something Ive been bummed about for some time, and has bothered me. The hellwig bar doesnt flex as much I think, truck isnt nearly as reactive (imho if you never drove it, you might have a hard time handling it). Basically it made the truck WAY more stable. I can take turns much better with less body roll and it just handles that much better.

I bought it at SD truck springs online, Im sure they drop shipped it as it took about 2 weeks to arrive.
