There is makeup on my passenger visor, so I was looking into buying one used. Then I saw there was lighted visors, of course I want that... Since my 2014 Aero didn't come with them. I didn't pull the headliner, but seeing as the headliner harness on TechAuthority shows one piece with the visor plugs and several other accessory plugs; I would guess they are not there. The visor lights use the same circuit as the dome lights, M59. So that's the background story to my main discovery.

The extra 4 pins on the headliner connector are Fused B(+) [Red/Violet], Lin Bus [White/Brown], Panel Lamps Driver [Orange/Grey], and UGDO Enable Control Circuit [Grey]. I had to look through quite a bit to figure out exactly what each was doing. But the main one that interests me is Universal Garage Door Opener. The wire is already going to the BCM, which means I might be able to add it. Maybe @Nyinstaller will comment. The UGDO also uses two of the other unused pins, Fused B(+) for power and Panel Lamps Driver for the backlight. The Panel Lamps Driver pin connects back to the dimmer switch. The last pin, which doesn't really interest me, is the Lin Bus for the Compass Module. The compass also needs Run Relay Control wire which is connected to the interior fusebox. I'm adding the 8.4N which has an internal compass. I wouldn't go through the trouble to add the compass for the TFT display.
Maybe someone else has already done this, but I thought it was interesting that the pins are already there. I'll have to purchase the headliner harness and UGDO module, but I'll try to keep this thread updated.
