Yikes gents, I am a self proclaimed novice DIY, but I simply can't believe how difficult Cadillac made it to remove our tail lamps. Took me more than a day total effort, crazy.
On the left side you have to disassemble all inside plastics, remove the seat belt anchor, loosen the auxiliary blower, just to get at the bolts.
On the right side, similar, but instead of the aux blower, it's the Bose speaker you have to remove.
Simply ridic!
All of this to essentially swap out both tail lamps for ones where the separate bottom mini LED is working!
ps. Don't think for a second you can "service" these tail lamps, they are a sealed unit, so if any LEDs go bad, it's off to the junkyard you go!
