Nismo Suspension Kit: Impression and short review

Suspension Modifications / Coilovers written by @zeno Nissan Sentra 2006

Today, I finally lowered my car since buying it about 7 years ago. I'm one of those rare deviants who doesn't mind the 4x4 status or rally look as I like to call it, that's why it took me so long, plus I didn't want to buy springs and risk blowing out my stock shocks and struts. I originally wanted to buy a nice set of coilovers, but when I starting researching suspension options I knew the Nismo suspension was right for me. Not long after one popped up on here and I didn't hesitate to buy it.

Let me just start off by saying WHOA! Mike Kojima was right, Nismo did spend hundreds of hours tuning this for the perfect compromise between performance and drivability. The ride quality feels like stock if not better, so going over bumps and road imperfections is no problem. I took it out for a run up a local mountain road HWY 74, and let me just that my adrenaline was pumping all the way up. The car kept pushing me to enter the corners faster and faster, and I couldn't help but comply. The car was perfectly planted and gripped the road like it was on rails even when doing double the recommended speed limit on some hairpin turns. And when I starting to reach the limits, it would let me know with a nudge of oversteer and rear tire squeal. Something I had never experienced before!

And to top it off, most if not all my wheel hop is gone! I can launch now without having to worry of breaking something. I'm in love with the Spec again.
