I fell into a hell of a deal on an upgrade braking system for the forester. The stats are:
2005 Legacy GT front calipers, rotors, and rear vented rotors and calipers. Forum member Opie hooked me up with a dirt cheap price and forum memeber Ringer helped me out with shipping.
The reason this is a BBK sleeper kit is that its a huge upgrade over stock, and with a set of lines and pads, will be nearly as good as brembo's for 1/4 the costs.
Onto the photos. Opie told me the guy he bought the calipers from did a crappy job painting them, and they would need to be redone. I decided to go ahead and install them, I will paint them later.

the size difference and thickness is huge, as well as the stopping power.
The rears required a tad more work, and this was just drilling out the spot welds on the dust shields.(no photos of this)

Overall, the FXT now has some braking power. When I save up for HP pads and braided lines, I will re-finish the calipers.
Test fitted with oem FSXT 5 spoke wheels
