My gear selector display only really worked on humid days if at all. I did struggle with the 2 bottom clips. But I did get it all apart. I flipped the board and noted the discoloration but i was unable to determine the joint responsible. I just began soldering all the joints in the area. I found one mid way through that when melted the other side gave way and the heatsink slid across the board. but it did infact work. I didnt mark the needles because I plugged it in before reassmbling. the guage cluster resets every time you pull the plug, then I started the truck. I noted where each guage usually is when running and was able to fine tune the needles. I still have lights to replace. But that's a much bigger job since almost all of my dash is burnt out. Heater controls and radio and it looks like my guage cluter is missing more than just the one I knew about.
