I debated on what X pipe I wanted to buy: Off Road, Catted, which brand, etc...I read reviews on some having fitment issues. I wanted Stainless Steel since it's my daily driver and it does see rain/sleet/snow/salt (unfortunately). I debated on a H-pipe also, but there are a lot more choices for X-Pipes.
I made a decision that hopefully will save me money and time in the long run. Since I live in an area that requires emissions testing I decided to spend the extra cash on a catted X-pipe. I decided to go with the SLP. I figured it would save me money in the long run since I dont have to buy Cats, clamps, etc to isntall them in a year and half, and the time to unistall the mid-pipe, put the cats on, and then re-install it, plus buying the MIL eliminators (I did not want my CEL light on). My current, stock mid-pipe is very rusted, and has some minor leaks so this was a necessary mod for me. I'm pretty excited to get it installed.
I currently have Pypes M-80s dumped at the rear so I hope it will be a bit louder with the new mid-pipe, but not too obnoxious (my wife thinks it too loud already ha). I'll reply back on how the install goes/sound/power/etc...
Just thought I would share....
