I replaced my oil pan on Monday and figured i would post this for the DIY people

1) Disconnect dog bone mount under intercooler (14mm socket)

2) remove dipstick hold down bolt (10mm socket)

3) Drain oil (17mm wrench)

4) Remove both motor mount bolts underneath (14mm socket)

5) remove both bolts for the acc bracket behind comp and alt (14mm socket)

6) install longer bolts with chain attached

7) lift engine with hoist, make sure no hoses or wires get pulled too much

i originally thought i could do this by jacking the trans up but it just lifted the tail end up (get a hoist)

8) remove oil pan bolts (10mm 1/4inch with extension and swivel) 3/8 will work but its tight start in the back just in case

9) remove and clean or replace take care with the dipstick tube twist and wiggle

10) clean all mating surface's with a new razor blade and sand paper or equivalent

11) i would advise cleaning the pick up and windage tray while in there

12) use RTV to make a gasket

13) re install everything in reverse order lube up dipstick tube and use new o rings if needed

the oil pan holds about half a quart even after drained and there is more in the pick up tube
