I just fixed the rattle in my drivers side mirror. It had a rattled / squeaking sound when I shut the door, It drove me crazy,,,lol.......Its really easy to do, heres what i did.

If you want to you can remove the whole mirror by removing the the back cover thats inside the car, just pull straight off to access 3 11mm bolts that attatches the mirror to the door ( be careful NOT to drop a bolt, it will fall into the door ) and unplug the harness . This is not nessary but is easier to work on the mirror.

Snap off the mirror glass by prying a plastic panel tool into the outside part of the glass, It sticks a little but will come out.

There are 3 t-10 torx screws that holds the motor in place to a arm inside the mirror housing, remove them and let motor hang.

There is 1 t-10 torx screw thats behind the motor that attaches the arm the the mirror housing. Reinstall screw with some thred lock and tighten down good. I think screw loosen and this was the problem.

Reinstall the motor screws with thred lock as well, snap on glass and reinstall on the door.... Took me a whole 10-15 mins...

Now no more rattle or squeak!
