This past weekend my temperature light came on and I looked at the gauges to find out that my 2013 JKU was overheating. It has never come close to overheating.
I let it cool off and I opened the radiator cap only to discover a blown sludge in there. And the bad news is that it smelled like motor oil.
I purged the sludge out so that I could get it to run cool again so that I could get it to the dealer. That was on Saturday and today is Monday. They are supposed to start looking at it today.
So, in you alls experience, should I expect a blown head gasket or a warped head? I have 72,000 miles on it so it is out of warranty.
If it is a warped head, will Chrysler cover that? I have read a lot about the heads having to be replaced in the Pentastar engines.
