My check engine light and electronic throttle control warning light have been coming on for 2 months now. I took the jeep in about 6 weeks ago and the dealer did a software update.
Well about a week later the check engine light came on again. It kept coming on at least once a week so I finally got back to the dealer today. They said that there is a service bulletin out for this.
The throttle position sensor is not working right and it cannot be replaced by itself. They are going to order and replace the entire throttle body. My Wrangler JKU is a 2013 so it is being repaired under warranty.
