My Alpine WRA-207 install nightmare

Hopefully some good suggestions will follow....

This morning I decided to install my Alpine WRA-207, Alpine KT-44A and Sirius XM module.

Watched the video and took my time routing the wires etc.

I have done a lot of stereos before but this took more time.

Once I installed everything I noticed the maestro module was not working. Call Crutchfield and basically they programmed it wrong. So I got a laptop and updated it and it's working. They also said use the ILX-207 to WRA-207 in menu. Well, does not exist and WRA-207 worked.

Now the WRA-207 is having issues:

1. I cannot adjust volume on the unit. Will not work on the headunit or the steering wheel. Crutchfield is sending a new unit. What a pain to install the factory 430 all over again. If you have installed this radio, you know what a pain that large harness is. Then I have to flash the maestro again. Now I have to try again on Wednesday.

2. Also my KICKER HS8 sub is not working. I original used the power antenna to turn on the HS8, but Crutchfield said you the blue/white REMO wire.

Without cutting the bullet connector, I tired putting bare wire into it to see if it would work, nope. HS* has power and was working fine last night with the 430 radio, LC2i and Alpine KTP-44U amp.

So I don't see how the HS8 went bad all of a sudden. Ordered some bullet connectors and a multimeter just incase. I used the SW RCA on back of HU and the setting in menu was set to sub on. Any ideas?

3. I routed the GPS antenna and mounted as instructed in video and Alpine instructions. When top is open, GPS says GOOD, when I close the top easy BAD.

Again any ideas?

Going to install the Alpine camera in a few weeks when I have time to route it.
